Dr. Huda Zoghbi – Circle of Angels Award

2 June 2009 – Leesburg, VA, USA The International Rett Syndrome Foundation gave its top award, The Circle of Angels Research Award, to Dr. Huda Zoghbi, Professor in the Departments of Molecular and human Genetics, Pediatrics, Neurology and Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine for her pioneering work on the MeCP2 gene. Congratulations to Dr. Zoghbi on this well earned award.

Dr. Zoghbi and her colleagues at Baylor College of Medicine have made major advances in the scientific understanding of MeCP2 Duplication Syndrome.
